The Chihuahua breed is famous for its cute look and saucy temperament. These dogs are very protective around their loved ones and are usually wary of other dogs. However, they are relatively friendly with other Chihuahuas, and well socialized dogs are loyal to both canine and non-canine animals. They can be snappy with teasing children and hence are not recommended for families with young or poorly behaved children. They have very fragile bones and face a high risk of fractures.
