Chihuahua Pic
A chihuahua pic (picture) will often portray it as a puppy.
According to the AKC standard the dogs should not exceed 6 pounds. The dogs possess a short muzzle with large luminous eyes and large ears that are held erect. The coat may be smooth or long and of almost any color. The muzzle should be pointed, and the ears are placed at the sides of the apple-shaped head at a 45-degree tilt. The chest should be deep and broad, the front legs should be placed widely apart, and the hocks of the hind legs should be well let down, firm and strong.

This breed is very ancient and dates back to the 7th century. The Aztecs and Toltecs of the ancient Mexico worshipped such dogs. This breed is the only natural toy breed and the smallest one in the world; the dogs weigh 5-9 pounds. The ancient predecessors of these dogs were regarded and treated as sacred animals, and used to be put in their owners’ graves to guide the souls of the dead through the underworld.
