These dogs are very communicative and make loving pets. Purebred dogs make champions in obedience, tracking and agility. The origin of this dog is uncertain, but the most popular theory is that they originated in Mexico in the state with the same name. Despite its small size, this dog behaves like it’s got the guts and the muscle to stand up against something a hundred times bigger than itself! These dogs are very protective around their owners, and do not like alien dogs. They hate it when small children tease them and may get scrappy.
