A breed chihuahua mixed is not usually found in a pure breed kennel and pictures are hard to find.
They enjoy company and are perfectly suited for domestic environment. They do okay indoors, but appreciate daily exercise and brief walks. Due to its portable size, the breed is a perfect choice for travelers. The dogs stand 6-9 inches high at the withers and weigh 2-6 pounds. They have very fragile bones and hence are susceptible to fractures. In order to develop normally, they must have a balanced diet. Some people, in an attempt to receive a so called ‘miniature’ type, reduce the dog’s ratio. This will only harm the dog and will result in weak muscle and poor immune system.

Often such dogs are born by mistake or negligence and become undesirable. Crossbreeding is a good way to produce new breeds, but careful selective work for many generations should be performed, otherwise the dogs will have unpredictable conformation and behavior. Often such animals are abandoned and come to rescue organizations where you can find a lot of them. They combine some traits of their ancestors and are very curious-looking.
