The dogs of this breed are rather expensive, because breeding and raising is very complicated and only reputable and experienced breeders can do that. Both parents should be screened for all possible defects and the bitch should be supervised by the vet. Cesarean section is often necessary to give birth, especially if the bitch is rather small. The litters are small and babies are very vulnerable and may die of cold or some disease. They are very fragile and should be handled with care.
